This XL-sized transom pad is ideal for larger engines which are mounted using two or four engine mounting bolts.
The pad will spread some of the pressure of the engine across the transom and will also cover up any marks from previous engine installations, eg if the bolt holes are in different places.
It is fitted outside the transom and provides protection for the transom against damage.
It can be easily fitted in a few minutes and simply needs screwing into place (screws not provided).
Ideal for wide transoms, this also helps absorb engine vibration.
Made of rigid UV stabilised plastic with a non-slip surface for secure engine mounting.
This type is plain (without a cleft) and is for use when there is not a central drain from the transom well.
